The virtual conference centre was supplied by Virtway. Participants were seated at their computers with a headset and were represented by their respective personal avatar who moved and talked in the virtual conference centre, please see our AERC introduction video or one by Virtway.
At the virtual conference centre participants could walk to the different lecture halls and attend the presentations in all parallel sessions, and visit the exhibitor areas to see the exhibitions and interact with the exhibitors, or talk to colleagues. Posters were also available there.
