We invite you to the Annual European Rheology Conference (AERC) in Leeds, UK, 9th-12th April 2024. This meeting will bring together rheologists from all scientific disciplines, from academy to industry and government laboratories in a friendly, informal atmosphere to discuss and share ideas.
The AERC conference will take place at the University of Leeds, one of the largest research intensive universities in the UK. The single site campus is conveniently located ten minutes walk from the centre of Leeds, giving excellent access to transport links, accommodation, restaurants and entertainment. Leeds is a modern city with a rich industrial past. Compact and accessible, you can walk everywhere and experience culture at its best. You can unwind and continue networking in a vibrant city centre famous for an eclectic and fast growing independent food and drink scene. Leeds is at the heart of the country of Yorkshire, a short 30 minute train ride from the historic city of York and within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

A short rheology course on "Computational rheology using RheoTool – an introductory course" will be held on 8th and 9th April, taught by Manuel Alves and and Célio Fernandes from University of Porto.
